Seth Green’s animated comedy show Robot Chicken will turn their satirical attention to AMC’s hit zombie survival drama The Walking Dead in a future special.
Fans of comedy and The Walking Dead could be in for a real treat when Seth Green’s popular animated spoof program Robot Chicken takes their aim at AMC’s flagship zombie survival drama in a future special on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim.

In the past, attempts to spoof The Walking Dead have fallen rather flat. Films like The Walking Deceased and skits on Saturday Night Live have left a lot to be desired, but Robot Chicken has a history of success with the projects, including the DC Universe and Star Wars.
Here is what TVLine.com had to say about the upcoming Robot Chicken: The Walking Dead special that will air on Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim at a date to be named in the future:
"“Akin to its past work with major franchises such as Star Wars and the DC Comics universe, the Emmy-winning Robot Chicken team will next join forces with The Walking Dead creator Robert Kirkman and showrunner Scott M. Gimple to deliver the “extra-bloody half-hour special” Robot Chicken: The Walking Dead, which will unleash an animated zombie apocalypse.”"
With Robert Kirkman and Scott M. Gimple on board to help out Seth Green and the Robot Chicken team, there is a good chance that the special can be very amusing to both fans of the AMC drama as well as loyal Robot Chicken viewers. And fans who love gore, even the animated variety, will enjoy the “extra bloody” aspect of the special.

As of this writing, there hasn’t been a confirmed date for Robot Chicken: The Walking Dead, but it likely won’t take long for an announcement to happen. As usual, Undead Walking will keep fans informed of this upcoming event and be sure to cover as much of it as possible, as Robot Chicken has a chance to hit a home run with this concept.
