Fear the Walking Dead: Episode 206 [Recap and poll]

Fear the Walking Dead episode 206 aired this evening with the group finally arriving in Mexico after trouble on the boat and trouble on land.

Catholic mass. The priest is talking about fighting doubt. Tom Abigail pulls up in a truck and tells the Padre not to do it. His congregation starts bleeding from their eyes like tears. The Padre blames “her”. The Fear logo flashes.

Chris thinks people are mad at him. Travis tells him that Madison is worried about him because she doesn’t think Reed was going to turn.

A boat is approaching and everyone hides below deck. Daniel translates for the group below deck. Gunshots. Daniel stabs the dead in the head so they won’t turn. Luis begged to have a coin returned to his mother. Daniel tossed it overboard.

In a beautifully sad scene, the group kills the walkers that the church people, including many children and the priest have become. They make it then to the Abigail residence and meet the madre. Daniel is not happy to have to surrender his weapons to enter the home.

Strand finds Thomas at home with fever and a bite on his arm. Visibly distraught and crying he says he’s sorry for not getting there sooner. He helps him into bed and hugs him as he holds him up to support him before moving to the bed. “I got you.”

Thomas asks Madison to look after Strand when he is gone. Daniel doesn’t want to eat with everyone. Chris froze when the fighting was happening and Alicia thinks Chris wants them dead. This gets between Madison and Travis.

Nick is getting tired of the killing and talks to Celia. Madison is not happy about her views on the dead and tells Celia how fragile and impressionable Nick is. Ofelia takes Nick for a walk and lights candles for her mother and talks to her. Nick flashes back to Gloria in the church.

Celia has been keeping the dead in the cellar behind a gate. We figure out that Celia has been poisining people. Victor tells Thomas that he will join him in death, possibly so they can stay walkers together. But then shoots him in his sleep. Chris went into Madison and Alicia’s room and picked up a knife. As they hear the shot, they wake up and see Chris.
