Fear The Walking Dead 206: ‘Church Fight’ from Sicut Cervus

Fear The Walking Dead gave fans memorable moments during ‘Sicut Cervus’, But here is the most talked about moment from episode 206: the Church Fight scene.

Episode 206 of Fear The Walking Dead was another intense installment of the series that set up what should be an insane midseason finale next week. Titled “Sicut Cervus”, the survivors made their way to Mexico, but didn’t exactly find their safe haven right away.

In fact, things got very messy as the survivors from the yacht landed and made their way up the path to a church. This church was to be the meeting spot for Victor Strand and Thomas Abigail, but there was a lot more than just Mr. Abigail waiting for them at this spot.

Leading up to this scene, Fear The Walking Dead had an opening where a church full of people were seen eating wafers. Once they got outside, they started bleeding from the eyes and writhing in pain.

Later on, the part of the show with the clip kicks in. The passengers from the yacht make their way up the winding road and make it to the church. After a moment, we see that the people from the church coming around the corner, and they have turned into zombies!

The survivors stand their ground and an epic battle with the undead takes place. Ofelia is fighting despite her wounds and her father Daniel is stabbing the walkers in the eye sockets. Alicia and Nick are holding their own, just like Travis and Madison.

Then, Daniel has a flashback to his less friendly days, as he holds one of the smaller walkers by the throat. Ofelia comes and stabs that zombie in the head.

But the same kind of support couldn’t be seen from Chris Manawa, who stood frozen in place and watched as a zombie overpowered Madison and took her to the ground. Luckily for Madison, her daughter Alicia was there to save her, just like Ofelia saved Daniel.
