Robert Kirkman may be the man responsible for the insanely popular The Walking Dead franchise, but he is also known for making fans a little crazy as well.

The Walking Dead has grown from a fledgling comic book series to one of the most recognizable television franchises around the world. The comics and show have inspired toys, merchandise, apparel, and much more, but one of the things the creator of the series is most proud of is his upcoming horror show Outcast on Cinemax.

Based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Outcast‘s television adaptation will premiere on Cinemax on June 3, 2016. To help promote the show, Kirkman took to Reddit to do an AMA (Ask Me Anything) for fans.

Of course, much of the conversation was about The Walking Dead, including the season 6 cliffhanger finale. However, some classic Robert Kirkman humor and teases were present during the question and answer session that were a lot of fun.

Here are some of the highlights from the session:

During the AMA, user maxforce54 asked the question “do rick die?” To which Kirkman said “He do eventually”.

On the same thread, Reddit user adubbs_92 asked about who Robert Kirkman’s favorite character on The Walking Dead is. And of course, Kirkman gave the most Kirkmanesque answer ever:

More from Undead Walking

"I don’t play favorites. They all die eventually.…Carl."

One thing to keep in mind about Robert Kirkman is that he’s one of the guys who loves playing with people’s heads, as evidenced in his answer to tempus_fugit_‘s question during the AMA:

"“Hi Robert, on a scale of one to ten, how much do you enjoy messing with your fans by giving misleading answers in interviews? You must be aware that it drives people nuts?”"

To which Mr. Kirkman replied with a simple number: “11”
