The Walking Dead: Season 3 features Clementine and Javier

A teaser was released for The Walking Dead: Season 3 from Telltale Games and it features Clementine and a new character fans have never met named Javier.
It doesn’t feel like very long ago when Lee Everett met Clementine back in The Walking Dead: A Telltale Game. Since then, the young lady has gone on to capture the hearts of gamers around the world as they watched her struggle to survive the zombie apocalypse.

In Fall of 2016, The Walking Dead: Season 3 will be released from Telltale Games and the great folks over at IGN were able to get a preview of the game before anyone else and shared it with their followers on IGN.com.
Fans hoping for more of Clementine in the upcoming game will be happy to know that she was a major part of the reveal trailer today, but there is another person from the trailer who will be all new to the series.

The new character is named Javier and appears to have been with Clementine for a while. They’re talking about how some of the walkers are marked and state that they must be getting close to something…but it is not explained what.

At E3, Telltale’s Job Stauffer and Laura Perusco talked about Javier and how he will be a playable character during the game. Stauffer went on to describe Javier and state that he and Clementine will have some common interests when the game series returns.
"“He’s been through a lot and he is central to this story. He is absolutely important to what’s going on,” Stauffer said during the reveal, explaining that Javier and Clementine “have a lot of common goals, if not a lot of common enemies.”"
Perusco went on to remind people season 3 will be a completely new story, but it will also continue along with what fans of the series have grown to love over the years.
"“This is very much a new story as much as it is a continuation,” Perusco said."

Despite the E3 teaser and information on the new character, not much else was revealed. The game still does not have a release date other than knowing that it will be available in Fall of 2016. However, a lack of information shouldn’t stop fans from being excited about a new installment in this fantastic games series, as The Walking Dead: Season 3 will likely not disappoint.
