A special event including many stars of The Walking Dead is set to take place in September with 100% of the proceeds going to the One Orlando Fund.

The people who bring us Walker Stalker Con and Heroes & Villains have organized a one day event to benefit the One Orlando Fund. They’ve confirmed many current and former stars of The Walking Dead already as well as stars from shows like The Arrow and The Flash.

Lauren Cohan, Michael Cudlitz, Josh McDermitt, Alanna Masterson, Chandler Riggs, Ross Marquand, Seth Gilliam, Sonequa Martin-Green, Christian Serratos, Emily Kinney, Lawrence Gilliard Jr., Jordan Woods-Robinson, and executive producer Greg Nicotero are scheduled to appear.

The creator and runner of the Heroes &Villains and Walker Stalker events, James Frazier, is an Orlando native and so are many of the members of his team.

"“I grew up in Orlando, graduated from high school there, got married there, and had four of my children there. Last week, my heart was broken by a senseless tragedy. I wondered, what can we do? How can we help? This September, we’re inviting our community of fans to come help us raise as much money as we can for the families that were impacted.” ~James Frazier“From our actors and photograph vendor to our volunteers and the Orange County Convention Center, everyone involved has stepped up to make Fan Fest Orlando possible. Our home town needs us. We’ve always supported each other, regardless of race, orientation, or creed, and this makes that all the more clear,” ~Jackie Prutsman, VP of Fan Fest."

The date is September 17, 2016 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Interested attendees should check the Fan Fest website for more information as well as updates on additional guest confirmations.

The one-day event will be just like a regular con with vendors and exhibitors, cosplayers, and panels in addition to the stars signing autographs and taking photos.
