When AMC announced their guests for Fear The Walking Dead at 2016 Comic Con International, they snuck the name of Danay Garcia into their panel members.

As stated in the announcements for the guests, panel, and exhibits for Fear The Walking Dead at Comic Con International in San Diego, AMC is hoping to drop surprises and elicit excitement on the fans in attendance and around the world. Interestingly enough, the surprises have already started.

Sneaking into the announcement of panel guests listed on  Comic Book.com was the name Danay Garcia. As of this writing, Garcia is not a current member of the hit AMC zombie survival drama’s cast, so this is an odd way to give fans a first glimpse or Garcia.

Garcia is an established actress. She has been a part of some of the most popular shows on television, including some that AMC seems to dip into on a regular basis when finding cast members. Here are just some of the projects fans may know Danay Garcia from:

More from Undead Walking

  • Supernatural (Ellie)
  • Prison Break (Sophia Lugo)
  • CSI: New York (Flora)
  • CSI: Miami (Camille)

Listing Danay Garcia among the members of Fear The Walking Dead‘s Comic Con panel is interesting for several reasons. While she may be appear as an upcoming cast member in the second half of the show’s second season, she may also be a newly recruited actress planning on being a part of the show’s third season.

No matter what AMC decides to do with Danay Garcia, she should be a fun addition to a cast that has already been hitting a home run during the show’s second season. Her history in stage theatre as well as constantly improving resume could help to make her one of the breakout stars of the series.

Fear The Walking Dead will return to AMC on August 21, 2016 with the midseason premiere of season 2. Hopefully, fans will get a glimpse of Danay Garcia during that time. However, in the event she isn’t planned to appear until season 3, it is still good to know that the show is planning that far ahead.
