Today, AMC released a new still image from the upcoming season, and it is a reminder to fans of how scared they should be about The Saviors. As you may recall, season 6 ended with a cliffhanger, knowing that one of the characters from the program has met their doom…but we don’t know who.
In this photo released by Entertainment Weekly through AMC and Gene Page, it appears as though The Saviors are having a lot of fun toying with Rick and the other survivors as Negan sends them all on a trip to “Pee Pants City”.
Here is that image as shared by Entertainment Weekly:
The fact that an organization takes so much pride in killing and gaining power is reminiscent of the Woodbury days of The Walking Dead, but there is a very different feeling surrounding The Saviors.
Instead of being sneaky and making quiet power plays, The Saviors are all about intimidation. Through their massive numbers, seemingly endless resources, and need to be respected, the group can make even the most arrogant man crumble to his knees.
This still encapsulates what The Saviors are and what fans can continue to expect from the intense group as The Walking Dead makes the transition from securing Alexandria to trying to survive under the rule of Negan and his men.
