The cast of The Walking Dead at San Diego International Comic-Con had fun with the full-size replicas of themselves in the Negan line-up in their own photo ops.

After the panel and the reveal of the highly anticipated trailer for season 7 of The Walking Dead, the cast joined the crowds on the floor in the convention center at The Walking Dead booth for some photo fun with their doppelgangers

Greg Nicotero’s team at KNB EFX had created full-size replicas of the gang in the lineup with Negan and Lucille in front of an RV in the woods for fans to use as a most unusual photo opportunity, but things turned very meta when the cast took pictures with themselves.

Greg Nicotero posted some of the photos on his Instagram and Danai Gurira posted a photo of Sonequa Martin-Green on her Twitter. Some fans captured Michael Cudlitz on Twitter sharing a smooch with himself in photo and in video. He’s an affectionate guy!

We’re missing a few of the gang. Hopefully, before the end of the weekend, they will have taken pictures with their Nicotero doubles and I will add them to the mix, but what we have so far is pretty dang cool!

Next: Have you seen the season 7 trailer yet?

It’s been a great Comic-Con for The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead. I hope you’re excited about the return of both shows. The 6 seasons/6 Sundays marathon continues as well taking us closer to the return of Fear and into fall.  We have our official dates now so countdowns will be the name of the game!
