NFL star running back DeAngelo Williams had a zombie themed wedding with an undead wedding party inspired by the hit AMC apocalyptic drama The Walking Dead.

Sundays are a rough time for many people when trying to decide what to watch on television. When The Walking Dead is on, that is usually a no-brainer for fans of the zombie drama. However, for those working on Sundays, that could be a major issue.

However, the competition doesn’t bother Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams. Although a majority of his Sundays are made up of playing football in the National Football League, he doesn’t hide that The Walking Dead is his favorite show on television and even made one of the biggest days of his life involve the massively popular program.

Here is the video of DeAngelo Williams holding his The Walking Dead themed wedding  with the entire wedding party, including the official, enjoying their zombie-filled time as shared on ESPN.com:

It is awesome for The Walking Dead to be such a big part of Williams’ life that he would have such a fun tribute to the show. The entire wedding party was made to look like zombies by professional make-up artists, which is something Williams really enjoyed.

"“I’m a huge ‘Walking Dead’ fan and I know the wedding day is typically for the woman or for women, so the whole entire wedding party are zombies and we get an opportunity to flex our ‘Walking Dead’ muscle,” Williams said."

Luckily, the bride, Risalyn, was a good sport as well. While some brides want everything beautiful and perfect for their wedding day, she was very willing to go along with the idea…although she had some concerns about trying to convince some of the others involved:

"“He didn’t have to convince me,” Risalyn said. “He really had to convince the bridesmaids.”"

The wedding photos from the wedding between DeAngelo and Risalyn Williams should be an excellent story to tell for many years to come. Plus, for a high-profile athlete like Williams to express his love for The Walking Dead in such a fantastic way shows just how important Robert Kirkman’s zombie survival drama has grabbed ahold of fans everywhere.
