Recap of episode 210 of Fear the Walking Dead: Do Not Disturb

Do not disturb the infected! Fear the Walking Dead continued in Mexico with Travis, Chris and Alicia and some newcomers in episode 210.

Tonight’s Fear the Walking Dead started with a flashback: The first dance of the wedding couple from the wedding back at the beginning in that hotel. The father of the bride had a heart attack. Then he attacks his daughter as an infected. The manager of the hotel locks the wedding guests in the banquet hall.

We see Chris and Travis again as they try to gather things to take a car and head out to find a new place to start over. Chris meets some zombies in the convenience store, but manages to get some supplies and water. He uses his skills that he learned from the teenager back on the island to take out the infected and even save one of the living in the store.

Travis and Chris seem to be getting along really well and are smiling. Father and son time is helping already. By a campfire, they talk about camping when Chris was a kid and how LIza hated it because she was a city girl.

They discuss what they should do next. Where they should go and what they should do. Travis tries to give Chris hope. They’ll find a place with elevation and maybe a house. The guy that Chris saved and two other guys find them in the woods and have a creepy little Dave and Tony Nebraska-like confrontation with Chris.

Chris asks them if they have any food. Chris tells him that he saved his life and he owes him-a little reminiscent of Travis and Daniel back in Los Angeles. The guy from the store sees it a little more Negan like. He says Chris stole his stuff. But they camp in the woods together in the end.

They were trying to get back to San Diego and Travis had to break the news that those cities are gone. Chris wants to go with these guys. He’s impressed with them. He’s flattered that they are impressed by his killing skills. Travis doesn’t trust them. Chris reveals his kill count is 17. Travis says he doesn’t count.

Alicia has a little trouble while looking for Ofelia. She finds Elena, the manager, who has been living in the hotel since things went bad. Elena is looking for her nephew, Hector. Alicia begs Elena to help her get back downstairs to find her mother. Some cool zombie and action scenes happened on the balconies of the upper floors of the hotel and in the elevators!

She told Alicia how she locked them in. Hector and Elena locked them in until help could come. Help never came.She said that they hate her. Alicia lets her know that she’s seen and done worse and she’ll protect her. The guests want to punish Elena. They want the keys to the hotel. Alicia tells Elena to give them the keys. They pull an Andrea and open the doors behind them to let the infected in. They find Madison and Strand.

The men find a farm and Travis wants to stay there with Chris, but Chris wants to stay with the guys. When Travis realized there are graves there he tries to warn the guys that this land belongs to someone. The farmer comes in the barn with a gun. There is a tense standoff. Chris shoots the farmer. Stillness. Sadness.
