Talking Dead Recap 211: Fear the Walking Dead ‘Pablo and Jessica’

Chris Hardwick hosted funny man Reggie Watts, and Fear the Walking Dead actors Danay Garcia and Paul Calderón in the loft for Talking Dead.

Two stars from La Colonia and a comedian sat on the couch and broke down the episode with newlywed Chris Hardwick on Talking Dead.

Danay talked about how she grew to fall for Nick with how he is wanting to help La Colonia and with the Gansito cake he took for the little girl. Her attraction built slowly.

Paul thinks the Alejandro thinks that Alejandro is smarter than everyone but he is not conceited about it. He thinks he needs to step up and lead them because they look to him.

Paul thinks that Alejandro is slowly turning Nick around as far as wanting to be part of La Colonia and, as a fan suggested, he might have thought it was a religious cult at first because of the chanting and things.

Danay thinks that Nick is learning to recognize the danger in the cartel. He has had so many experiences where he just doesn’t have fear–with the dead and with other situations perhaps related to his drug use–that he doesn’t recognize the dangers.

Colman Domingo talked in a video interview about how Strand took a backseat to Madison’s negotiating at the hotel. He thinks that Strand is smart and sees that Madison has it under control and they have become a partnership.

The cast on the couch continued some Strand discussion agreeing that Strand is smart and knows sometimes you have to let the head negotiator just take the lead. Madison was getting the job done so Strand knew not to step in and throw that off.

They also talked about how Strand made a touching move to step in and do what needed to be done for the groom and kill the walker bride even though it was clearly affecting Strand as well.

Paul thinks that Alejandro doesn’t particularly care for the Luciana relationship with Nick because he thinks that he’s going to lose part of what Luciana brings to him and the Colonia, but he thinks that Alejandro is allowing it.
