October is all about TWD: finales, premieres and merchandise

October is all about The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead nowadays. Fear will finish up. The Walking Dead will return and lots of toys will debut.
October used to conjure up images of pumpkins and witches, spiders and mummies. Many people got excited to have all the horror movies on television. Now it’s all about the zombies.
We’re willing to share. We’ll still enjoy the pumpkin spice lattes and let people watch Jason and Freddy on television on a Friday night. But when we think of October, the first thing that comes to mind is THE WALKING DEAD!
Our October calendar is filling up more than ever this year with Fear the Walking Dead spilling into October as it ends its second season. Plus we have new toys coming out. Let’s look at how the calendar squares stack up so we don’t miss anything.
October 1st
Hallmark stores will have the Rick Grimes Keepsake Ornament in stores and online available for purchase.
October 2nd
Fear the Walking Dead airs the last 2 episodes of season 2. Two hour finale.
October 16th
AMC airs a retrospective about The Walking Dead to recap season 6 and look back at the show before we move into season 7. More details about this Special should emerge soon. Stay with Undead Walking to learn about the Recap Special as soon as we find out more.
October 23rd
The big night! The season premiere of The Walking Dead‘s season 7. The episode we’ve been waiting for ever since the spring when the screen went black and somebody was taking it like a champ. It’s likely that we won’t be taking it like a champ. We will need a box of tissue and a hand to hold that night.

Brand new Funko Mopeez are expected to ship in September, but they will be available in October for the premiere of season 7 of The Walking Dead. No solid dates are available at this time.
