Norman Reedus appears on Jimmy Kimmel Live during Mean Tweets
By Adam Carlson
The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live during a segment called Mean Tweets, where celebrities read awful tweets from Twitter.
By now, fans everywhere are likely familiar with Mean Tweets. The popular segment from Jimmy Kimmel Live puts celebrities on camera reading actual Twitter posts involving them, most of which are very unflattering. For the 10th installment in the series, Kimmel called upon The Walking Dead star Norman Reedus.
Reedus is known for a good sense of humor. He’s been in multiple videos joking around with his coworkers or friends and has even appeared in some comedy movies. Now, he puts all his acting aside to read one single tweet during the September 21, 2016 broadcast of Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Here is the video of the segment as shared from the official Jimmy Kimmel Live YouTube channel:
The tweet to Norman Reedus was more awkward than mean. Twitter user @trashyrickyl seems to be quite proud of their ability to stretch certain parts of their body and seem to be hoping that Reedus will find that particularly interesting as well and wants the star of The Walking Dead to ‘hit me up’. Norman played the joke off well, taking a bite of an apple and saying that he’ll do it.

Many of the Mean Tweets during this segment were not mean. In fact, several were just oddly sexual or completely awkward. But there were some that were quite funny.
A clean and fun inclusion was Paul Rudd, who gets called out for being boring, but enjoys the joke and laughs along.
Another solid one has Wanda Sykes reading a tweet about Nickelback with a mean P.S. enclosed, and instead focuses on the part about the Canadian rock band.
These Mean Tweet segments on Jimmy Kimmel Live are usually very entertaining, but some of these missed the mark. However, it is always great to see a star from AMC’s The Walking Dead included in the group, especially when that individual has the star power of Norman Reedus.
