AMC announced today that The Walking Dead star, Norman Reedus’ motorcycle culture unscripted show, Ride with Norman Reedus will get a second season.

Norman Reedus on a motorcycle cruising to cool places with his celebrity and non-celebrity friends and meeting local bike experts, talking bike culture and just seeing the world through the eyes of a biker was the idea for Ride with Norman Reedus.

Last June we were treated to 6 episodes of the unscripted series on AMC. We visited locations in California, Louisiana, Florida and Texas, including a biker church, bike shops, local restaurants, and much more.

Season 2 has been given the green light by AMC for 6 more episodes in 2017.  Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC and SundanceTV is happy about continuing the series.

"“We’re so excited to continue this journey with Norman Reedus. Norman’s love of motorcycles and adventure, and his ability to connect with people are the drivers of this series, and we look forward to more great Rides next season.”"

No word yet on the guests or the locations yet. Perhaps Jeffrey Dean Morgan will join Norman for an episode. The Negan actor tweeted a video of himself biking with Norman so we know he’s a biker. Norman also mentioned last season that he’d like to take Ride international in the second season, if that was possible. So there could be lots of surprises.

"“The reaction to ‘Ride’ has been incredibly positive. I am glad to be able to show audiences a different side of me and we have gotten a great response to the candid conversation and the fact that it’s obviously not scripted. I feel like we are just getting started and there are so many amazing places we have yet to go – the opportunities for the show are endless.” ~Norman Reedus"
