Sons Of Anarchy actor Dayton Callie joined the cast of Fear The Walking Dead during the big season 2 finale which aired October 2, 2016 on AMC.

Fans of the hit FX biker drama Sons Of Anarchy were in for a big treat during the season 2 finale of Fear The Walking Dead, when a regular cast member made a big appearance in the final scene.

Known for playing Chief Wayne Unser on Sons of Anarchy, Dayton Callie made a big impact on the zombie survival drama right away. His asserting of power over Ofelia in the desert raises many questions as to what will happen to these characters and how much danger Ms. Salazar may be in.

Even if you’re not a big fan of Sons Of Anarchy, there are plenty of places you may have seen Dayton Callie before his big debut. Here are some of his other acting jobs according to IMDB:

  • Deadwood – Charlie Utter
  • CSI: Crime Scene Investigation – Ernie Dell
  • Halloween II –  Coroner Hooks
  • The Booth At The End – Jack
  • Volcano – Roger Lapher

As of this writing, there is no idea of how long the unnamed character will be a part of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead or just how big of a role he will play in the story of Ofelia, but having such a powerful and established actor on the show could help to add another big feather in the cap of the zombie survival drama.

Comicbook.com is very impressed by this casting, and sees big things in the character’s future:

"“When Fear The Walking Dead returns in 2017, Dayton Callie is likely to see a large role come his way. To cast an actor that’s a veteran of FX’s number one series of all time (Sons Of Anarchy), as well as HBO’s Deadwood, there must be a great role in store for his character.”"
