The Walking Dead’s Gale Anne Hurd announced that Valhalla Entertainment and Propagate Content are bringing the horror anthology series Lore to Amazon.

Gale Anne Hurd is one busy woman! Not only is she an executive producer on AMC’s The Walking Dead, Fear The Walking Dead, and Talking Dead, but she has several other current shows she works on, including Falling Water and Hunters.

Looking back on her resume is even more impressive. Blockbusters like the Terminator series, the Aliens series, The Abyss, Tremors, Armageddon and many other top titles all have Hurd’s fingerprints on them.

When she established Valhalla Entertainment to help work on AMC’s zombie survival drama The Walking Dead, she looked into many other horror properties to both develop and help grow along the way. One of those was a podcast called Lore on iTunes and Google Play.

Now, Lore is making its way to Amazon thanks to Hurd and Valhalla Entertainment according to Dread Central, and fans of The Walking Dead and other horror stories should be very excited about the announcement that it will be available on a wider scale.

"“I’m obsessed with horror and mythology. In bringing Lore to Amazon we are going to examine the truth behind the horror genre – something we love.”"

Lore won a Best Of iTunes Award in 2015 for their content discussing true life scary stories. But it isn’t the stories that have the whole spotlight, but instead how they are brought to life every other Monday for new episodes.

Here is the description of Lore from the show’s official website:

"“Each episode examines a new dark tale from history, and presents it in a style that’s been compared to a campfire experience. With over 4,100 5-star reviews on iTunes and over 3-million monthly listens, that’s clearly a good thing.”"

And it definitely is a good thing. Those who enjoy the world of fear should definitely want to check out the Lore podcast now or on Amazon.

More of Gale Anne Hurd’s work can be seen when The Walking Dead returns to AMC for season 7. Otherwise, there are plenty of other great programs from Valhalla Entertainment to check out if you need a little fix of horror in your life.
