The Walking Dead season 7 premiere episode title and synopsis released

The episode title and synopsis for the season 7 premiere of AMC’s The Walking Dead, which will air on Sunday, October 23, 2016, has been released.

There is less than 2 weeks until the season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead will air on AMC. That means it is time for fans of the zombie survival drama to start getting excited and nervous for the first taste of action with our favorite survivors since April.

Of course, the big conversation still revolves around the big scene during the season 6 finale, where villain Negan was introduced. A big cliffhanger left the fate of 11 characters up in the air, but all will be revealed soon for fans concerned about the faces they have grown to love.

Thankfully, AMC has released the episode description and title for the season 7 premiere of The Walking Dead, and one is much more interesting than the other. Let’s start by checking out the episode synopsis:

"“Last season ended with Rick and our group kneeling helplessly before Negan and his group. What Negan does will haunt those who survive forever.”"

That description is generic, but it does exactly what it is supposed to do. It reminds viewers of the horrible situation the survivors were left in and lets us know that Negan’s actions will have an extremely big impact on the people who walk away from the incident.

The interesting part of the release was the episode title, which is listed as the following:

‘The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be’

Fans of The Walking Dead will remember those words from an earlier episode. Much earlier, in fact, as they were said by Dr. Edwin Jenner at the Center For Disease Control near Atlanta during the season 1 finale.

When he opened the door to let Rick Grimes out before the cleansing, Rick told Jenner that he was grateful for him doing so. Those words, now the episode title for episode 701, were his response.
