Get your badges and wristbands early for Walker Stalker Atlanta at early will call. Atlanta Movie Tours is one of the locations that brings extra fun.

Walker Stalker Con Atlanta is now less than a week away. The convention begins Friday, 10/28, and runs through Sunday, 10/30, at the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta, GA.

Walker Stalker has arranged early will call options for fans to beat the crowds on convention day and get right to the fun inside.

One way to get your badges early is by visiting Atlanta Movie Tours. The tour operation hosted a will call today, 10/22, from noon to 6:00 p.m. and will do the same on Sunday, 10/23.

I took advantage of this option enjoying the extra benefits of seeing the Atlanta Movie Tours headquarters.

A friendly group of Walker Stalker Con staff was on hand to help us pick up our badges. There was not a long wait but a steady stream of convention goers were in and out of the doors to take advantage of the early pickup.

While there, we took the opportunity to do a little shopping and picked up the latest addition of The Walking Dead The Official Magazine. Merchandise abounds at Atlanta Movie Tours.

Of course there are plenty of items associated with The Walking Dead, both the graphic novel story as well as the AMC television series. But you will also find souvenirs for The Hunger Games franchise, The Avengers cinematic universe, and other productions filmed in Georgia.

We also were happy to check in with “Professor Woodchuck” (Charlie Leach), a hero walker from the television series as well as an Atlanta Movie Tours guide.

Mr. Leach played the walker who was gutted by Daryl and Rick looking for “evidence” of Sophia. We jokingly asked Charlie how his tummy was doing, and he assured us that it was all still there. Whew!

You never know “who” you may encounter at the Atlanta Movie Tours office, but you can count on “what” you can see just outside their doors.

Just around the corner from the shop is the Norfolk Southern building whose rooftop played host to Merle and the other survivors in Season 1.

It was here that Rick “Officer Friendly” Grimes handcuffed Merle to a pipe. And just down below you will see the building’s tunnel, which Rick approached on horseback.

The building appears just as it did in the The Walking Dead season 1. Fans will recognize it easily.
