In a deleted scene from Fear The Walking Dead: The Complete Second Season, Madison Clark asks Travis Manawa to talk to his son Chris about his mental health.

The second season of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead was a very bumpy ride. Not only did the action and excitement get bumped up multiple levels but the characters grew in interesting and unexpected ways.

One of the characters who intrigued fans during season 2 was Chris Manawa. After losing his mother in season 1 and struggling to relate to the other survivors, he stood out as someone who didn’t quite belong despite how hard his father Travis tried to make him fit in.

Thankfully, fans were given a sneak peek into a deleted scene which shows a conversation Madison and Travis were having about Chris after the death of their hostage on Abigail. Here is that scene from Fear The Walking Dead season 2 episode 6 as hosted on the Anchor Bay YouTube account:

During this scene, the yacht Abigail is at sea and Madison is talking to Travis about what had just happened.

Chris was on duty watching their captive, and when it was discovered that he had been killed, many questions arose. Madison is telling Travis there was no indication that he was going to turn into a member of the undead and that she is concerned about it.

Travis responds by saying that everywhere they go, they leave bodies. Killing happens everywhere. Madison interrupts him to say that this situation is different and Chris is not well.

Unsure of what to do next, Travis begins to get frustrated. He asks Madison what course of action he should take, and she says he should talk to Chris about it. Travis then leaves without saying another word.
