As The Walking Dead Season 7 continues, we’re still catching up with members of the group who were separated at the end of Season 6. So far we’ve seen the Kingdom, the Sanctuary, the Hilltop and Alexandria. This week we’re catching up with Tara and Heath, who left on a supply run and have no idea what has been happening back home.
Tara and Heath have encountered a new group. If you’re counting, that could mark the fifth colony for us to keep track of. But who are these people and what do they want?
AMC’s teaser doesn’t give us much in the episode description: “Someone stumbles upon a brand new society unlike anything seen before.” Well, let’s see. We have a madman with a bat, a man with a tiger, a cowardly man, and a man who is struggling to deal with everything that’s happening in his world. If we’re looking at a new society with something we haven’t seen before, you can only imagine what that means. How will Tara and Heath react to this new group? Will this new group know about Alexandria, or what has been happening with the other colonies? Are they good guys, or are they another threat to Alexandria?
This week’s episode will have an extended run time with an extra ten minutes. This continues the new trend of longer episodes this season. Episodes 7 and 8 will also feature approximately 20 minutes of extra footage.
