By Adam Carlson
This week’s talked about scene from The Walking Dead season 7 episode 6 titled ‘Swear’ shows Tara and people from Oceanside sharing some dramatic moments.
There was definitely a lot going on during the most recent episode of AMC’s zombie survival drama The Walking Dead. Season 7 episode 6 titled ‘Swear’ introduced a community with several new and interesting characters while learning a lot more about The Saviors.
The entire episode hinged on one scene. With Tara looking death in the face, she found out what happened at the Oceanside community and why they live the way they do. It also instilled a lot of fear into the woman from Alexandria.
Here is the video from The Walking Dead episode 706 titled ‘They Get What They Want’ as shared on the official YouTube channel of AMC:
Tara is being held at gunpoint by Beatrice. Rather than shooting Tara, she explains to her that The Saviors are much more powerful than she imagined. Not willing to accept what she heard, Tara continues to believe that all The Saviors are dead.

Quick to reply that they cannot be stopped, Beatrice tells her that the group of Negan’s men that were eliminated at the satellite outpost were just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the power of that group.
Putting it all together, Tara realizes that Oceanside had dealt with this group too. It was indeed The Saviors who killed all the males over 10 years old in their community and left the women and children to fend for themselves, so they ran where they couldn’t be found.
This was the reason Oceanside and their people were so afraid of outsiders. Their position could not be known, in order to stay safe from Negan and his men. Letting anyone out alive was a severe risk to their future since The Saviors get what they want.
Beatrice raises her gun to shoot Tara, but from nowhere Cyndie comes to save the day. Tackling Beatrice to the ground, Cyndie tells Tara to run.
