Telltale Games releases trailer, details for TWD: A New Frontier
The trailer for The Walking Dead Telltale Games Series: A New Frontier dropped ahead of the December 20th release date.
The newest trailer for Telltale Game’s third season of The Walking Dead debuted December 1st at The Game Awards 2016.
A New Frontier will launch December 20th and will include the first two episodes of the third season. (There will be five episodes in total) The game will be available on Android, iOS, Mac, Playstation 3, Playstation 4, Windows PC, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
Here’s what Telltale Games says of the game: “When family is all you have left… how far will you go to protect it? Four years after society was ripped apart by undead hands, pockets of civilization emerge from the chaos. But at what cost? Can the living be trusts on this new frontier? As Javier, a young man determined to find the family taken from him, you meet a young girl who has experienced her own unimaginable loss. Her name is Clementine, and your fates are bound together in a story where every choice you make could be your last.”
Clementine will be recognizable to fans who have played the first two seasons of the game. Javier is a new character who is searching for his family. The game is set in the present day, four years after the apocalypse began. We meet his family during a flashback in the season premiere that takes place during the early moments of the outbreak. Javier arrives in time to find that his grandfather has passed, but when the little girl says she’s taking water to her grandfather, who is awake again, the family realizes something is horribly wrong.
