Check out the second teaser for the second half of The Walking Dead’s seventh season showing Rick Grimes with the people of The Hilltop preparing for war.
The Walking Dead is a show about hope and the human response. Sadly, most of that hope was crushed when Negan and The Saviors appeared on the scene and forced them to provide for the people of The Sanctuary.
Thankfully, the click might be ticking on Negan. Now that the groups are banded together, they are looking for different ways to fight back against their oppression. Outnumbered and outgunned, they will face their biggest challenge of the zombie apocalypse.
Fans won’t have to guess for too long as to what might happen. AMC released their second sneak peek video teasing the second half of The Walking Dead’s seventh season on their official YouTube channel:
The video which originally aired on Talking Dead opens pretty close to where the season 7 midseason finale ended. Rick Grimes, along with many of the people from Alexandria, have come to The Hilltop to seek help in the fight against Negan.

Daryl tells Rick that the group doesn’t need the numbers if they can blow them up. Tara reminds him that it isn’t just soldiers there, and that there are workers as well.
The discussion continues, but Rick is still frustrated that they don’t have the manpower to pull off an attack on The Saviors. He mentions the geography, outposts, and distance are all in the favor of Negan.
Rick says they need to get back to Alexandria, but Jesus stops them. He says there is no rush in getting back since he has one of their radios and will know when the people from The Sanctuary are on their way.
Then, Jesus says that it is time for the people of Alexandria to be introduced to King Ezekiel, with a smirk on his face.
The Walking Dead will return to AMC with the second half of season 7 on Sunday, February 12, 2017. Until then, fans will need to wonder just what Rick and the rest of the survivors will need to do in order to fight back against Negan and The Saviors.
