The Walking Dead wardrobe department tributes to Glenn and Abraham
By Susie Graham
On The Walking Dead, Maggie is doing better now that she’s resting a bit at Hilltop and her wardrobe in the midseason finale had some tributes to Glenn and Abraham.
It was great to see Maggie recovering and gaining her strength back in the midseason finale of The Walking Dead. She even had enough strength to climb the ladder and stand guard with Eduardo on the beautiful fences of Hilltop. Enough smart ass strength to verbally spar with Gregory.
We saw that her appetite was healthy, which was helping her get healthier, too. Good news for the promise of a healthy baby. It appears apples are Maggie’s craving now that she’s at Hilltop.
With all of the new communities and new characters on The Walking Dead in season 7 and the sadness we’ve experienced, fans may have missed being able to say better goodbyes to Abraham and Glenn.
The wardrobe department helped out in the midseason finale, which was the perfect time for the tributes, as the episode was the start of hope for the fight in our characters to come back. Not only just anger, but fight. Fight that will bring them together.
Glenn told Enid that the people you love made you who you are. They’re still a part of you. They’re still here because you’re still here.
The wardrobe department did that for us with Maggie with her hat and gloves. And fans were thrilled to see it!

Maybe Maggie is just wearing her hat and gloves to hide her identity so Negan won’t know she’s alive and well. Maybe she just needed some gloves for gardening and she needed sun protection while out in that open Hilltop area. But none of that matters. We see Glenn and Abraham when we see those things.
As the kids say…the feels!
