There are people who do their Christmas shopping on Christmas morning before heading to the family dinner later in the afternoon. They do it on purpose, believe it or not. But sometimes you find yourself in a pinch and you don’t want to get a gift card. Don’t worry. We’ve got your covered.
This year will be a bigger challenge because finding open stores on Christmas Day is an adventure in itself. Finding a store that’s open on Christmas Day that sells gifts for Walking Dead fans in your life doesn’t have to be a huge struggle at all.
That’s right, all you have to do is head to your local Walgreens and you’ll find everything you need. The Walgreens stores that are normally open 24-hours will remain open 24-hours while the stores that are not open 24-hours will be open 8am-6pm on Christmas Day.
You might be wondering what kind of gifts you can find for the Walking Dead fans in your life, and what you could possibly find at Walgreens. The answer: Everything.
I recently shopped two local Walgreens stores and was shocked by the amazing selection of action figures and trading cards in stock. The key is to look in the toy aisle (go figure) and look very carefully. It’s not necessarily grouped by theme, so you might find Titanfall Color Tops action figured alongside the Walking Dead ones. But they’re there. Walgreens has a great selection of McFarlane Toys and Color Tops action figures, along with blind pack figurines and trading cards. It’s a Walking Dead fan’s dream cache, and if your local store is well stocked it will make it look like you didn’t wait until the last minute to go shopping.
