The road to all out war between The Saviors and the Survivors on The Walking Dead

“Last Day On Earth”
Finally! Negan himself appears in The Walking Dead Season 6 finale “Last Day on Earth”. The Saviors set up an extremely elaborate trap to corner Rick and the group in the RV every time they try to get to Hilltop.
Eugene comes up with a daring plan for him to take the RV and try to lead the Saviors off in another direction so the rest of the Survivors can take Maggie to Hilltop on foot. But the Saviors aren’t fooled. Eugene gets roughed up and the Saviors easily take over the RV.
The rest of the Survivors are hunted down by the Saviors. They are herded into a clearing in the woods at night. The Saviors unload the captives Glenn, Michonne, Rosita and Daryl to join the others. Then Negan stops out of the RV and the Survivors’ world was changed forever.
In a scene taken almost directly from The Walking Dead comic Negan gave a long speech introducing Lucille and himself to Rick and the rest of the Survivors.
It was apparent from the first time they saw Negan that he was not like any other villain they had faced. He gave a pretty long speech before swinging Lucille on a victim that wouldn’t be revealed until The Walking Dead Season 7 premiere, “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be”.
