1. Learn to use a gun.

I know a lot of people don’t like guns, but, we’re talking about a zombie apocalypse here. To survive one, you’re going to need to be able to combat the dead, and frankly, a gun is one of the best tools for doing it.

Of course, a gun is useless if you don’t know how to properly use it. With that in mind, you should make every effort possible to properly learn how to use and maintain as many guns as you can.

In furtherance of this idea, you would also be well served to get a license to own and operate firearms, so that preparing yourself to fight zombies doesn’t get you arrested.

Once you’ve got license, start learning from the best teacher you can find, so that, when the dead start walking, you won’t be anyone’s meal. Speaking of learning from the best…
