7. Avoid ANYWHERE large numbers of people gather.

Cities. Hospitals. Malls. Highways. Bridges. Tunnels. Airports. Planes. Trains. Train terminals. Stadiums. All of these places will either have large numbers of people already in them when a zombie apocalypse starts or they will not long after.

Frankly, the biggest problem you will have in a zombie apocalypse is numbers. The whole reason it was predicted we’d have 100 days before extinction is because of how much the undead would outnumber us. All the places I listed above will not only house large numbers of zombies, but, do so in a relatively confined space.

So, the best thing you can do? Avoid these places as best as possible. Even if the government is trying to gather people into nearby cities for safety, how long do you think it’ll be before the city falls to the dead? How long before someone turns inside the “safe” zone and just repeats the whole the process all over again?!

If our extinction is a matter of numbers, then you’re best move is to avoid places where the population is high, because should zombies enter the picture, the number of zombies will end up high, too.
