Carol

Carol has hung on for a lot longer than anyone expected. Carol as she was in Seasons 1 and 2 probably wouldn’t have gotten past Season 3. But she did was survivors do. She adapted. And she changed. Fighting for survival made her stronger than she knew she could be.

But it seemed like everything she had been through caught up with her last season. She’s been on the bubble for the last half of Season 6 and the first half of Season 7.

Living in isolation by her own choice just outside of the Kingdom she may be headed for an exit. Or, hearing about the deaths of Glenn and Abe may be what it takes to turn her around.

Hopefully Carol has had enough time to work through what she needed to work through. The Survivors are going to need her skills and bravery. And she seemed to make a real connection with Ezekiel. If she doesn’t feel ready to return to Alexandria and her family maybe she can rally and start a new life at Kingdom.

Carol has defied the odds of death before. Originally the character was set to be killed off in Season 3, but she’s still around. There’s a decent chance that she can survive this lackluster arc and be the Carol fans know she can be. So her chances of surviving Season 7B are fair.
