Morgan

It seems like Morgan just came back, but there is still a chance he could die in All Out War. It was a great moment when Morgan returned.

It tied up one of the remaining loose ends from the early part of the series. It gave Rick some closure. And Morgan’s moral transformation put him in line to become Rick’s next moral compass.

But Morgan hasn’t done much since his return. He and Carol faced off over the Wolves. And he did save her life, breaking his own rule about killing to do so. Without Morgan Carol would have died.

But the relationship between Rick and Morgan has been kind of stunted. Morgan, like Carol, has no idea what Rick and the other Survivors have gone through since that day when Carol left to go out on her own.

Morgan still has a lot to contribute both to the show and to the Survivors. The character has been benched on the sidelined for most of the first half of Season 7.

But he’s going to be critically important in getting King Ezekiel to agree to fight the Saviors. And he can help get the people of the Kingdom ready for war.

King Ezekiel likes and respects Morgan, so if Rick and Morgan can’t resolve their philosophical differences when it comes to killing Morgan can contribute at Kingdom.

It would be a shame to lose Morgan so soon after he found Rick again. His character has not had a chance to fulfill his potential yet. Because Morgan still hasn’t had a chance to shine since he returned he has a pretty good chance of surviving All Out War.
