British bet makers lay odds on the next actor to play James Bond, and the list includes The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln.

The search is on for the next actor to portray film icon James Bond. Daniel Craig is stepping down after several films and it’s time to find his replacement. Not surprisingly, the short list of actors has been drawn up and odds makers at The Sun have already started laying odds on which actor stands the best chance to land the titular role. The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln made the list—let’s look at where he falls in the race.

The current frontrunners to play 007 include Aidan Turner (The Hobbit trilogy), James Norton (BBC’s Happy Valley), and Tom Hardy (Mad Max: Fury Road). All three men sit at 3/1 odds, with Hardy surging lately to get him into a three-way tie for first place. Thor actors Idris Elba and Tom Hiddleston both sit at 8/1 odds, with Elba being one of the fan favorites to take the role. Matt Damon and Steven Spielberg have both thrown support to Elba as the next Bond, and the idea has gained in popularity despite his position on the list.

The Walking Dead’s Andrew Lincoln sits at 1/250, behind Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan and Sherlock’s Benedict Cumberbatch, who both make the list at 1/100.

While Andrew Lincoln might not be a frontrunner, The Walking Dead Family knows that he would make an excellent James Bond. But later on. Right now Lincoln needs to focus on kicking Negan’s butt.
