Daryl Is Ready To Fight

Finally Daryl is back. The last couple seasons he’s been kind of lurking in the background. He has some serious fighting skills that haven’t been used. After being held captive at Sanctuary and being forced to confront his role in Glenn’s death he’s back and ready for war.

Daryl is one of the strongest fighters that Rick has. The group is going to need him at the top of his game to take on Negan. But it looks like his captivity has given him the rage he’s going to need to take on this fight.

Daryl’s biggest flaw is his impulsiveness. That’s what got Glenn killed. If he can keep that in check and focus on the big picture he will be a very effective part of Rick’s elite fighting squad.

But the group also has to figure out a way to keep him hidden. Negan will assume that Daryl is going to head back to Alexandria. Alexandria is already on Negan’s radar so Rick will have to find a safe place to keep Daryl hidden.

Hilltop isn’t going to be a very safe place because of the risk that Gregory will betray them. And considering that Rick is keeping two of his best fighters hidden from Negan it’s better to separate them. That way if one is discovered the other one will still be safe. The best place for Daryl is probably the Kingdom. If Rick can convince King Ezekiel to join the fight.
