Can Rosita Keep It Together?
Rosita has been struggling to keep it together since Abe was killed. Now she has to accept responsibility for getting Olivia killed. Taking a shot at Negan was brave but foolish. If she is going to help the survivors in all out war she needs to balance her desire for revenge with common sense.
Rosita is a strong fighter. It’s fabulous to see her character finally given some development outside of her role as Abe’s girlfriend. Hopefully in the second half of season 7B she will continue to develop into a multifaceted character that is a real asset to Rick and the group.
But, her character development may be cut short. Rosita is definitely on the short list of characters that might not make it through the rest of the season.
It looks like Rosita will have some emotional moments coming up in the midseason premiere. That doesn’t bode well for her chances of survival.
It’s almost certain that some of Rick’s group will die in the war against Negan and the Saviors. And Rosita’s character has been adrift in the story arc so far in season 7. Odds are good that both Rosita and Sasha will fall in the battle against the Saviors.
