Tara Will Be A Major Player

Rosita won’t be the only one that gets some character development in The Walking Dead season7B. It looks like Tara will also be getting a stronger story arc. It will be great to see Tara get some time to shine. She is another character that has been kept in the background for the last few seasons.

But, as always on The Walking Dead, there is some fear that her increased role means she won’t make it past this season. Getting some dramatic moments and a bigger role in the story doesn’t necessarily mean that a character is marked for death.

However in the past there has been a pattern of characters getting increased focus just before they are killed off. Let’s hope that Tara isn’t part of that pattern. She still has a lot to contribute to the group.

She is a good fighter and she brings humor and heart to the group, usually when they need it most. They will need it now more than ever.

It could be that her bottle episode in season 7A, “Swear”, was a new beginning for her. Maybe she will even get to have a girlfriend that lives through more than one season.
