If you were wondering if there will be a The Walking Dead marathon on Super Bowl Sunday, wonder no more. The Zombie Bowl is back.

No official word if The Walking Dead marathon will have a name this year. A few years back we had Zombie Bowl promo photos and even a fun commercial advertising the Sunday alternative to the big game.

But we know that we’ll call it the Zombie Bowl, right! You can enjoy the Zombie Bowl even if you plan to watch the Super Bowl because it begins at 8 am./7C and continues all day and night.

Season 1 and season 2 are the features for this marathon. If you’re going to watch the actual Super Bowl, you’ll have a season 1 marathon to prepare you for the fight on the field. Maybe during a commercial you can see Sophia come out of the barn.

If you are too wired to sleep after the game, there will still be time to watch the Randall story finish up and see some sadness with Dale and Shane and the big fire.

To get you excited for the big day, go back to the commercial from AMC from a few years ago:

Zombie Bowl: Walkers vs. Humans

Please note: the dates in the video are not correct! The Zombie Bowl kicks of on February 5th at 8 am. and new episodes return on February 12.

Next: Rise up! Cheer for Atlanta in the Super Bowl (unless you're a Pats fan)

So get your chips and dip and chicken wings or whatever you fancy and get ready for a full day of zombies, football and fun to celebrate Super Bowl Sunday or the unofficial Sunday Before The Walking Dead Returns Sunday!

Check the AMC schedule for the episodes and times.
