The season 7 midseason premiere of The Walking Dead titled ‘Rock in the Road’ aired on Sunday, February 12, 2017, but was the episode good or bad?

After the long midseason break, The Walking Dead finally returned to AMC. The episode titled ‘Rock in the Road’ aired on Sunday, February 12, 2017, and gave fans of the show more insight into the zombie apocalypse.

During the first half of season 7, the people from Alexandria, The Hilltop, The Kingdom and Oceanside lived in fear of Negan and The Saviors. Through intimidation and brute force, the survivors were forced to fall into line and provide for their oppressors.

However, by the midseason finale, hope had returned. Rick Grimes found his will to fight and joined others who are tired of being bossed around by Negan. Now, they will hope to unite against a common foe.
