Points of Interest

  1. Always check the back seat. C’mon Gabe. I’m sure horror movies and shows have taught people one thing over the years: ALWAYS CHECK THE BACK SEAT! Having the stranger pop up while Gabe drove away does make the situation a bit scary, as a survivor, supplies, and Alexandria’s safety is at stake.
  2. “Rise Up” AMC advertising Planet Earth. Sure, ‘Rise Up’ is the tagline for the second half of season 7, but using to describe animals overcoming the wild is fantastic. Especially when using THIS FANTASTIC VIDEO of an iguana and a den of snakes to accompany the excellent commercial.
  3. The King’s Highway. ‘Rock in the Road’ may be the episode title, but it is actually part of a poem about how hard work deserves reward and only those willing to make sacrifices will ultimately succeed. Check out the poem HERE. Plus, it involves a King…just like Ezekiel is for The Kingdom!
  4. Free at Last. King Ezekiel was using the speech of Martin Luther King, Jr. as a story for the youth of The Kingdom as a bedtime story. This was fitting for several reasons, considering it is Black History Month, freedom is the topic, and the name King is something they have in common.
  5. Passage is finally getting good. After a ho-hum start, Fear The Walking Dead: Passage is finally hitting its stride. It’s hard to get into a series in such small chunks, but it is finally interesting enough now to warrant attention on a weekly basis.
