Was The Walking Dead episode 710 titled ‘New Best Friends’ a good episode? Here were the good, bad, and interesting things from the February 19th episode.

Last week, The Walking Dead returned from its season 7 midseason break with a solid premiere that was both encouraging and frustrating for Rick Grimes and the other survivors living in Alexandria.

The group was denied soldiers and weapons by The Hilltop and by The Kingdom, but were still able to walk away from the experience with each community with something to help in the efforts going forward.

King Ezekiel allowed Daryl a place to stay in The Kingdom where he would not be found by Negan and The Saviors. Meanwhile, a grass-roots campaign by Enid has the people of The Hilltop ready to fight even though Gregory does not want that for his people.

Ending with the survivors in a bad place surrounded by well-armed and well-organized strangers, Rick Grimes let out a big smile heading into episode 710 titled ‘New Best Friends’. But after watching the Sunday, February 15, 2017 episode, the big question is whether or not the episode was good.

Let’s discuss the good, bad, and interesting things from this week’s episode starting by talking about the good stuff.
