The Walking Dead: Josh McDermitt adds his voice to Dream Loud [video]
By Susie Graham
Josh McDermitt of The Walking Dead answered some questions for celebrated photographer Brad Everett Young as part of Dream Loud Official.
Dream Loud Official was started by noted photographer Brad Everett Young. As part of his campaign he sat down with The Walking Dead actor Josh McDermitt to talk about how The Walking Dead has been the most amazing experience of his life.
Brad has also taken some amazing photos of our Eugene. He gave us permission to share a few of them with you!
"Dream Loud Official is my over the top visual campaign aimed at raising awareness to the schools losing the Art & Music programs. Each year schools are going through more and more budget cuts and each year the first programs to be cut as a result are the art and music programs. Dream Loud is a campaign to help raise awareness to this and to help encourage the school system to retain the art and music programs instead of letting them go. And for those that have already suffered the loss of the programs or never had them we’re encouraging kids/adults to become familiar with the arts & music by learning to draw/paint/learn photography / learn to play a musical instrument, etc."

The video is insightful, simple, and artistic. I love the black and white, like many of the Dream Loud Official photos.
Josh talked to Brad about how in addition to a job, working on The Walking Dead is an “extreme fan VIP experience” because he was already a fan of the show before he started working on it. I love that concept!
He gives great insight to how much the cast and the crew care about the work and making the show great. You’ll find out who is the one “jerk”, according to Josh. But of course, he’s kidding. You’ll learn who is the biggest “cut-up” once he finally surrenders to not answering that he is it.
Thank you, Brad, for sharing this great video with us. Josh, please stay away from any irons (or scissors) at the Sanctuary!
