Season 7, episode 10 of The Walking Dead answered some questions for us that remained after we left Rick Grimes with a big smile on his face in episode 9.

At the end of the mid-season finale of The Walking Dead, we cheered about most of the group getting back together ready to fight back against the Saviors and Negan.

But a change in attitude is not all that is necessary. The Saviors still have huge numbers and the groups still belongs to Negan. They still work for him. Just deciding to fight back isn’t enough. And running away isn’t the answer either. Dwight tried that.

Gregory is no help. He is still determined to keep his deal going with the Saviors and wants nothing to do with the people of Alexandria. He wants plausible deniability and to keep his hands clean. Enid talked to some of the Hilltoppers and they may join the fight without Gregory’s permission.

Jesus took the group to the Kingdom to meet King Ezekiel. They tried to persuade Ezekiel to join the fight, but he wants to keep peace for his residents right now. He did offer to shelter Daryl though. While at the Kingdom, they saw Morgan again and filled him in about Abraham and the others and how the Saviors were now in charge.

A mystery unfolded with Father Gabriel and a new group of strangers. As usual, we were left with many questions. Some of those were answered during episode 10.
