Episode 711 of The Walking Dead titled ‘Hostiles and Calamities’ will air on February 26, 2017, but what do you need to know going into Sunday?
The story of Rick Grimes and the rest of the survivors on The Walking Dead attempting to fight back against Negan and The Saviors continues to develop as season 7 of AMC’s zombie survival drama rages on.
On Sunday, February 26, 2017, a new episode titled ‘Hostiles and Calamities’ will air. This will be the 11th episode of the season and according to the previews, it will focus on what is happening within the walls of The Sanctuary.
However. if you are planning on watching this episode, there are several things you will want to know. Sometimes details get forgotten or a new installment in the series gets missed, but here is all you will need to know for episode 711.
The Saviors still rule the roost for now. They are controlling all of the communities through violence, threats, and intimidation. They have numbers, weapons, and supplies that make them almost impossible to defeat.

However, Rick Grimes wants to try to overcome this tyranny. He is trying to rally all the surrounding communities to help him fight against Negan and his men. He has managed to strike a deal with The Scavengers, but needs guns to pay them off. Plus, he has the people of The Hilltop committed to help, but The Kingdom has yet to join in the fray.
The Saviors will be angry this week. Not only will they be returning home to find Fat Joey dead, but they will also discover that Daryl has escaped his cell. While that will cause some alarm for them, they still have Eugene to do with as they please.
Daryl was left in the safety of The Kingdom to help persuade Ezekiel to join the wary, but left anyway. His destination is The Hilltop, but it is unknown what his goal is there or what can be done to keep him hidden from The Saviors.
Finally, the truce between The Saviors and The Kingdom is getting threatened again. At the last hand off, Richard and one of Negan’s men got into another altercation, leading to some tension between the groups. The question of how long this ‘peace’ can last has to be in the back of King Ezekiel’s mind.

With all this and more going on, the new episode of The Walking Dead on Sunday, February 26, 2017 should be a big one. ‘Hostiles and Calamities’ will continue the story in a big way, and hopefully Eugene can withstand whatever Negan and The Saviors throw at him.
