11) The junkyard people’s spiked walker is, quite frankly, very reminiscent of the “Iron Maiden” monsters from Resident Evil 4. I’m not even kidding.

12) “Winslow”, The Spiked Walker, is the first named walker we’ve seen on the show since Lizzie’s friend, Nick, way back in season four.

13) After Rick defeats Winslow, and looks out over the junkyard, some have speculated that they’re seeing a plane fly by in the background; Upon further review, it appears to be a hawk or vulture or other kind of soaring bird.

14) Rick tells Father Gabriel that his sudden up-welling of confidence (His smiling at the end of the previous episode), was because he saw that enemies could become friends. For anyone familiar with the comics at present, this certainly sounds like a bit of foreshadowing.

15) Speaking of enemies becoming friends, Father Gabriel is the second major group member to at first be at odds with Rick before becoming a (relatively) valued member of The Group, the first being Merle.
