The Walking Dead is sharing the spotlight this Sunday with the 89th Academy Awards and to celebrate we have fantastic Oscars-themed movie posters!

The Oscars are a celebration of the best achievement in motion pictures over the past year. However, we all know that Sunday nights belong to the Dead so to celebrate the Oscars, The Walking Dead released a series of movie poster images weaving together The Walking Dead with four of the Best Motion Picture nominees: La La Land, The Arrival, Lion, and Fences.

Something tells me Negan might be a sore loser if if doesn’t win…

Kicking off the group of four posters is the homage to juggernaut La La Land, only The Walking Dead version is called Negan’s Land starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Austin Nichols. Indeed, Negan and Lucille are posing dramatically while Spencer’s dead body is heaped at Negan’s feet.

Lucille is the star of the second poster for Negan’s Arrival, which is a tribute to The Arrival. In this image Lucille is dangling from the sky with a town below.

The next poster celebrates the sleeper hit Lion, only The Walking Dead version is called Tiger, with Khary Payton in his role as King Ezekiel. Obviously Shiva is the titular tiger.

And last, but certainly not least, we have Hilltop Fences, starring Andrew Lincoln and Norman Reedus, whose emotional embrace seen at the end of the midseason finale is emblazoned across the front of the stylized poster.
