#4. Does Negan still trust Dwight?

The history between Dwight and Negan is complicated. However, a professional level, Dwight has done what he needed to do in order to keep Sherry safe and him alive. But Sherry’s escape put Dwight in a lot of danger.

As earlier stated, Dwight got locked up in the cell for a day for her escape, but a quick pledge of allegiance to Negan put him right back in the good graces of The Saviors and back outside the walls of The Sanctuary on his own.

Not only did Dwight actually return back to The Saviors after being out by himself, but it appears as though he solidified himself as a loyal member of the community through framing Dr. Carson for everything being pinned on him.

But Dwight has a lot to think about going forward. Now he has the power and ability to be trusted by Negan and no longer has anything to lose when it comes to Sherry. This could make him a bit of a loose cannon or allow him to stand up against The Saviors in the future.
