#1. What is Negan’s plan for Eugene?

Interestingly enough, Negan wasn’t bringing Eugene to The Sanctuary to torture him or get information. That would have been easy enough to do since Alexandria’s resident genius doesn’t stand up for himself on a regular basis.

However, Negan took a softer approach to Eugene. He assigned Laura to watch after him, and from there Eugene was given his own private room, access to supplies and fresh foods, video games, and much more.

Negan is instead looking to court Eugene into joining him. This approach is something Eugene figured out pretty quickly, especially when Negan asked him to come up with a solution to the walkers decomposing at the gates of The Sanctuary.

Eventually, it has to be believed that Negan will want Eugene to manufacture ammunition for The Saviors the way he did for Rosita, but first he needs to get the good ‘doctor’ comfortable. And he seems to be settling in pretty well.
