In the latest teaser from AMC’s The Walking Dead, Rosita makes it clear that she’s ready for battle, even if she’s just an army of one.

We all know Rosita wants a shot at Negan, but clearly she’s not going to wait around for the rest of the group to get on board. In the latest teaser from this week’s episode “Say Yes,” Rosita tells Tara that she’s tired of waiting.

The teaser opens with Rosita removing her own stitches. You’d think that the cut on her face would remind her that her rash actions are what led to Olivia’s death and Eugene’s subsequent capture. You’d think that, right?

Wrong.

When Tara arrives at Rosita’s house only to find that Rosita has removed the stitches, she tries to reassure Rosita that they’ve got the numbers to fight now. Rosita reminds her that they don’t have the guns they need to fight the Saviors (or to use as an offering to the Scavengers), and they don’t know where to find guns.

What Rosita doesn’t know is that Tara knows exactly where to find the guns, but she made a promise to Cyndie not to reveal the existence of the Oceanside community. Since Tara can’t offer anything other than hope and optimism, Rosita gets frustrated and leaves, telling her that she’ll find guns on her own.

This leaves Tara at an impasse. Either she goes back on her promise to Oceanside, or she risks losing her own community. Both decisions have lasting implications. Oceanside has already lost a lot to the Saviors, so they might not want to part with their weapons and Rick can’t use the argument that they’re all under Negan’s thumb because Oceanside has been hiding. However, the Saviors might follow Rick to Oceanside, which could trigger an even bigger problem for the groups as a whole. Tara will have to really think about her options.

Rosita, on the other hand, is not going to help anyone if she keeps going off on her own. She’s becoming a threat to the group with her reckless behavior.

The Walking Dead “Say Yes” airs Sunday at 9pm on AMC.
