#4. How strong is Rick and Michonne’s relationship?
Rick and Michonne have spent a lot of time together. The two had grown close, shared some intimate moments both emotionally and physically as well as bonded over their safeguarding of Carl in the past.
During ‘Say Yes’, the relationship took another step toward legitimacy. Showing even more moments of them spending time together, smiling, laughing, and enjoying each other’s company finally made the duo seem more like a unit instead of two people.
One example of this was how Michonne reacted when she thought the walkers had gotten Rick when they were at the carnival. The emotion in her eyes and inability to control herself spoke volumes about the relationship between these two characters.
Finally, their talk in the van cemented things. Talking about losing each other and how painful it would be put the icing on the cake of this sweet relationship. Many fans are going to be very happy that ‘Richonne’ is here to stay.
