Rick and Michonne got overwhelmed by some walkers at the carnival in a talked about scene from The Walking Dead episode 712 titled ‘Say Yes’.
The hunt for food, weapons, and supplies has been the focus of The Walking Dead in recent weeks. While the ultimate goal is to defeat Negan and The Saviors to get their freedom back, they will need a lot of help and firepower to get it done.
During episode 712, Rick and Michonne were out scavenging when they came across a fenced-in area. Once inside, they found soldiers with guns, a massive supply of food, and a carnival which needed to be looked over for supplies.
Once in the group of walkers, things fell apart quickly. Rick and Michonne split up to divide the undead and Rick fell from his spot on the ferris wheel. That’s where the talked about clip from ‘Say Yes’ starts. Check it out as hosted on the AMC YouTube channel:
Rick scrambled along the ground to get his gun. After shooting a couple of walkers, Michonne realized the trouble he was in and ran over to help, shouting his name and desperate to help him in any way possible.

Once she arrived at the spot, all she saw was a group of walkers surrounding a spot on the ground making a meal out of the flesh.
Michonne’s emotional reaction to what she saw overwhelmed her. She dropped her sword, watched in awe, and stood there stunned at the thought of losing Rick to this group of walkers at the carnival.
The walkers changed their focus from the body on the ground to Michonne. She was still unable to move as the undead shambled in her direction, hoping to get another meal.
Just then, Rick popped out of a crate with a grate on it. He picked up Michonne’s sword and sliced some walkers before tossing to to her. Along with Rick and his hatchet, Michonne eliminated the walker threat before running over to Rick and giving him a big hug.
