The Walking Dead, Say Yes: Things To Note
By Liam O'Leary
13) Just before the Ferris wheel collapses (Come on, Rick, what were you thinking?), Rick is distracted by a gang of walkers with their hands bound. Seriously, what the Hell happened here? NOTE TO AMC: MAKE THE STORY OF THE CARNIVAL OF DOOM A WEBISODE, PLEASE. THANK YOU.
14) Considering Rick references his first meeting with Glenn to Michonne, it seems even more likely that the walkers surrounding the car may have been a reference to Rick’s situation just before said meeting.
15) This episode gets its name from Rick attempting to negotiate how many guns The Group could keep from the collection the were giving the scavengers. While arguing to keep twenty guns and the wire cat, Rick tells Jadis to “Say yes” to his terms.
16) In a pretty big departure from the comics, as the episode ends, Rosita and Sasha are planning to attack The Saviors. As they discuss their plan, the two suggest they may not come back. If that isn’t foreshadowing something grim, I don’t know what would.
